Outstanding pupils at Trinity Nursery and Primary School–Kamaca in Kumi District have been rewarded with assorted scholastic items after posting impressive results in the recent Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).

The school registered 20 candidates for the national examinations, with six pupils scoring Division One while the remaining 14 passed in Division Two — a performance school leaders have described as a major academic milestone.

During a thanksgiving ceremony held at the school over the weekend, the top performers received scholastic materials, including mattresses, pens, books and mathematical sets to support their transition to secondary education.

The school’s director, Stella Alupo, said the initiative is intended to motivate learners and reinforce a culture of hard work and excellence.

“These rewards will go a long way in inspiring other pupils to work harder and aim for better performance,” Alupo said.

Some of the high achievers, including Rebecca Atukei and Shedrak Ejangat, attributed their success to the supportive learning environment and the provision of essential scholastic materials by the school administration.

They noted that having basic learning requirements readily available helped them focus fully on their studies without unnecessary challenges.

Meanwhile, the PTA chairperson, Alex Ilukol, commended the school management for its continued commitment to supporting learners’ academic growth and welfare.

He said such gestures not only recognize excellence but also encourage parents and the wider community to remain actively involved in children’s education.

School administrators expressed optimism that the strong results will further strengthen the institution’s academic reputation and motivate future candidates to aim even higher.
